Designation- High Performance Analyst – Strength And Conditioning Expert

Essential Qualification
- Bachelors’ degree of Sports & Exercise Science /Sports Science/ Sports Coaching & Exercise Science / Physical education/ Diploma in sports coaching /or equivalent from any recognized University/ Institution with S&C certification/specialization.
Desirable Qualification
- Masters’ or higher Degree in relevant field from any recognized University/ Institution.
Essential Experience
- 5 years of experience in relevant field OR 3 years of experience with Masters in relevant field OR Ph. D in relevant field
Desirable Experience
- 1 year experience in the field of sports science/ medicine.
Age limit:
- The upper age limit is 45 years as on the closing date for submission of online applications
Remuneration:
- Consolidated monthly remuneration is Rs 1,05,000/- with annual increment up to 10% based on performance assessment.
Nature of Duties
● Provision of comprehensive sports science support to multidisciplinary individual & team sports.
● Formulate the annual testing plan for relevant discipline. Carry out the biannual Khelo India Protocol assessment& uploading the data on NSRS portal. Training the team for execution of testing.
● Attend to the training at FOP & Briefing of testing protocol to Coaches & Athletes. Follow split duty timings as per requirement of Coaches/Administration.
● Manage the Athlete Monitoring System (AMS/ NSRS) and guide the process for optimal utilization.
● Interpretation of testing data for further discussion with the Coaches/ Director NCSSR/ Head of Sport Science/ High Performance Director.
● Management of resources& lab of the relevant discipline.
● Management and upgradation of the equipment in the relevant discipline.
● Contribution in applied research for relevant discipline.
● Any other duties assigned by Director NCSSR, High performance Director, Head of Sports Science, Regional Head and/or Director General, SAI.
Selection Procedure

Sports Authority of India (SAI) was set up in 1984 to carry forward the legacy of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982 under the Department of Sports. SAl has been entrusted with the twin objectives of promoting sports and achieving sporting excellence at the national and international level. SAI was set up as a Society registered of Societies Act, 1860 in pursuance of the Resolution No. 1-1/83/SAI dated 25th January 1984 of the Department of Sports, Govt. of India with the objective of promotion of Sports and Games as detailed in the Resolution. SAI has played a significant role in shaping India’s sports development by providing training to elite athletes and at the same time operating a number of schemes for the identification and development of young talent. The schemes are being implemented through various regional centres and training centres of SAI spread throughout the country. In addition to that, a number of academic programmes in physical education and sports are also offered by SAI.
