Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in the India Employee Benefits Industry (e.g., Benefits Specialist or Benefits Consultant).
  • Experience in managing and implementing onsite wellness programming.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience working in HR domain.
  • 5 years of experience focused on Benefits Programs for India.
  • Experience managing vendor related implementations, change management, and implementation.
  • Experience solving complex problems, designing creative strategies, and delivering significant impact with specialist domain knowledge and technical expertise of benefits.
  • Understanding of our changing Googlers demographics, supporting segment driven work (e.g., parent support, elder care), and financial education programs.
  • Analytical bias, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze data trends and themes.

We want someone who will take ownership of various country benefit programs yet be flexible to work on regional/global projects. In this role, you will think holistically and horizontally across the global team to provide assistance and drive key initiatives to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Be the Benefits Specialist for India (co-manage) and other identified APAC markets.
  • Be responsible to design and deliver against agreed Benefits strategy for the identified market(s), including ensuring our programs across these identified countries conform with local market practices and are in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage relationships with relevant vendor(s) and client groups in partnership with Human Resource and other stakeholders.
  • Drive robust and detailed project management plans for the implementation of identified benefit programs at local or regional level including the design, implementation and maintenance of these processes and programs, the Request for Information, and Request for Proposal processes.
