About the role :

We are solving some of the most complex and challenging engineering problems in search & discovery, data science & analytics at a significant scale and we are growing fast. Our tech stack includes microservices in Go, Java, Python built on K8s using multiple relational/no-sql and asynchronous communication and public cloud technologies. As a Senior Software Engineer, you would be joining our rockstar engineers in one of our application teams.
Responsibilities :
– Craft durable, well-tested code with an unwavering focus on quality
– Guide projects from conception to delivery
– Build products, systems and services with a customer-first and an automation mindset
– Balance product features and technical debt
– Lead and participate in technical, product and design discussions
– Partner closely with PMs, Analysts and fellow engineers in driving and executing projects using the agile process.
Qualifications & Skills :
– 3-6 years of industry experience in software engineering
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field involving coding
– Proficient in at least one or more programming languages like Java, Go, Python, C++ etc.
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
– Strong engineering principles and experience in building scalable distributed systems
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills with particular emphasis on technical (documentation (including diagramming)
– Have experience in Search tool, Solr, Elastic Search, etc
