Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our team of software developers and quality assurance engineers, provide guidance on the design and implementation of new software applications, and ensure that projects stay on schedule. This role will report to H&W Director of Operations and will be working from Gurgaon office.

Primary Responsibilities :

– Supervising software developers and quality assurance staff.

– Establishing a mentoring program to build strong development teams.

– Managing development productivity and quality levels to meet client expectations.

– Consulting with onshore software engineering teams and management to implement software solutions.

– Define objectives and key results, and metrics to drive continuous improvement.

– Keeping abreast of new software technologies, as well as conforming to best practices in software development and cybersecurity.

Required Experience & Skills :

– Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or similar.

– 12+ years of experience in software development and team management.

– Data migration from legacy system to newer technologies.

– Further experience of a broad spectrum of programming methodologies and platforms such as object-oriented programming, component based architectures, data structures, C#, ASP.NET,.NET, .Net Core Framework Class Libraries, and SQL

Technology Skills :

– Minimum 8 years working with modern UI technologies in a Microsoft stack including SQL Server database management systems, XML, Visual Studio and Azure Dev-ops.

– Experience working in a multi-tiered web-based applications and services in an agile SDLC including modified waterfall, scrum and Kanban ALM environments

– Ability to mentor software developers and quality assurance engineers.

– Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions.

– Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.

– Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.

– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
