Introduction:
Development of reports using Data warehouse and database technologies along with proven track record of ETL.
What will you be doing?
Work directly with Product Managers and business users on financial models, calculations and reports.
Accountable for specific project deliverables.
Accountable for front2back development across Business/ Regulatory/ Control demands including DevOps, Barclays SDLC, Security, Stability, Capacity, Resiliency, and Maintainability.
Ownership and/or influence of change, project timelines, and architecture.
Design, build, test, and deploy DWH application components.
Drive the Best execution strategy for development and implementation.
What we’re looking for:
A bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related.
Extensive hands-on experience on experience in software development using Data ware house.
Proven track of working in database technologies, SQL.
Strong Unix, Shell Scripting, Autosys skills.
Experience of working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
Desirable to have experience of agile delivery in a data centric, regulatory environment
Good understanding of Data Mart concepts with proven experience.
Ability to design and implement logical and physical data models.
Hands on experience with Source Code control tools e.g. Git Repo
Familiar with scheduling management technologies e.g. Autosys
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development team.
Experience in CI-CD pipeline
Skills that will help you in the role:
Able to work well with IT developers in multiple locations.
Knowledge of software development ‘best practices’. Good knowledge of the software development life cycle.
Analytical & Problem Solving skills – ability to investigate and resolve issues in a high-pressured environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask, Ability to train others.
Good understanding of investment banking, and the industry sector.
Good understanding of front to back finance and operational process flows.
