Job Overview :
We are seeking a Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate or has a few years of experience in software development or testing. As a Junior SDET, you will work closely with the development and quality assurance teams to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities :
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and contribute to the design of test cases.
– Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
– Execute test scripts, analyze results, and report defects, providing detailed documentation.
– Participate in the identification and resolution of software defects and issues.
– Collaborate with developers to understand the codebase and contribute to the improvement of testability.
– Work with version control systems and continuous integration tools to ensure a streamlined testing process.
– Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and test automation.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications :
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
– Strong understanding of software development and testing concepts.
– Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).
– Experience testing Flutter based frontend applications.
– Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
– Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and learn new technologies quickly.
Preferred Skills :
– Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
– Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
– Exposure to mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium).
– Understanding of software security testing concepts.
