Responsibilities:
– Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
– Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance.
– System Architecture: Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to contribute to the overall system architecture, making informed decisions on design patterns, technology choices, and trade-offs.
– Code Reviews and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
– Performance Optimization: Optimize software applications for high performance, scalability, and reliability, leveraging profiling tools and architectural improvements.
– Technical Problem Solving: Lead the resolution of complex technical issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
– Collaboration and Communication: Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, quality assurance engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
– Mentoring and Coaching: Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional growth and skill development.

Requirements :
– Education: Preferred Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– Experience: Significant professional experience as a Software Developer with at least 5-7 years, with a focus on Python development in the Fintech or financial services domain.
– Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python programming language, including advanced concepts, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
– Database: Strong understanding and experience in RDBMS e.g. Postgres
– Full-Stack Knowledge: Strong familiarity with web frameworks e.g. flask, falcon.
– Architecture and Design: Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices in developing scalable and maintainable systems.
– Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
