Minimum qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. • 8 years of experience in Linux system administration, troubleshooting, scripting, and networking. Preferred qualifications: • Experience with automation, systems design, and implementation. • Experience with cloud (e.g. Google Cloud). • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration and knowledge in scripting. • Understanding of complex IT infrastructure and security standards, with the ability to troubleshoot issues. • Systematic problem solving approach, with the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas with high ambiguity. Responsibilities • Utilize Linux and Windows systems, networking, and security fundamentals. • Write code to automate monitoring and routine tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Go, etc.). • Utilize configuration as code (e.g. Puppet configuration management) and cloud compute (e.g. Google Compute Engine (GCE)). • Utilize customer service, documentation, prioritization, multitasking, communication and leadership skills. • Work with minimum supervision, and identify and initiate areas for improvement and automation.
