Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in building embedded system software stack.
- Experience in developing android tests and applications.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning or natural language processing.
- Understanding of Android software and hardware architectures.
- Understanding of SoC architecture.
- Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Deploy and optimize the next generation on device ML model and products on Google’s latest SoC, enhance its performance, reduce power and memory footprint.
- Build prototype/production software for embedded software stacks running inside Google’s SoCs.
- Contribute to the software and hardware architecture designs for Google’s future SoCs and software features.
- Collaborate across organizations and teams to move the architecture design into production.
- Build prototype/production software across the android stack including kernel, Board Support Package (BSP), framework, and application to prove the feasibility of designs.
