Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of experience in vendor management, process reengineering, program management
  • Experience managing vendor operations and compliance in an outsourcing/scaled ecosystem

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD
  • Experience in implementing strategic and large-scale initiatives/projects in a change-oriented, fast-paced vendorized environment
  • Experience developing quantitative models, deriving insights, and presenting them in a meaningful and simple manner to drive fact-based decision-making
  • Ability to lead executive presentations and partner effectively with cross-functional teams and their leadership to drive impact
  • Ability to lead escalation channels and oversee remediation of escalations related to improvement programs in real-time
  • Ability to lead change management by partnering with cross-functional partners and supplier leads to plan, communicate, and execute operational change and incorporate on the ground feedback

Working closely with the Head of On/Offboarding, Scaled Processes and Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) Technology teams, you will contribute to Alphabet’s strategic workforce plan and the development of its future capabilities in the field of contingent workforce expansion.

As a xWS On/Offboarding Operations Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvements in our vendor operations while mitigating risk and realizing cost optimization opportunities. You will manage optimization program outcomes to determine how to design, launch, standardize, and optimize operational processes of vendor or internal teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a high-performing team to support extended workforce optimization efforts, ensuring areas of concern are either addressed with stakeholders or appropriately escalated to leadership.
  • Use data-driven insights to understand issues, trends, and perspectives to transform contingent workforce operations. Identify problems and issues, and create projects and processes to solve them.
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies to achieve Service Level Agreements and other metrics.
  • Manage execution of projects to generate impact and solve scaled operations problems. Drive partnership with relevant teams on project scoping, execution, and management.
  • Manage process reengineering efforts that improve overall supplier performance and efficiencies.
