Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
15 years of experience in a consulting, strategy, operations, investment banking, investing, program management, or business development role

Preferred qualifications:

Experience influencing and collaborating with executive stakeholders in a matrixed organization
Experience in Strategy and Operations, or as a Chief of Staff for a CEO, VP, or General Manager
Experience executing complex strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives
Ability to succeed in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment with limited direction
Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-constrained projects at once
Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills

About the job

As the Head for Central Strategic Programs, you will closely partner with the Google Cloud Vice President to ensure the management of strategic initiatives in the sales ecosystem. You will utilize strategic thinking on key areas of investment, converting this to executable plans program management of key initiatives led by the Vice President’s office, and performance tracking, generating insights, and running monthly, quarterly, and annual review cadence. You will establish and shape the way we work, through program management, operational cadence, content reviews, improvement initiatives, metrics, insights, and reporting. You will foster collaboration and best practices across the team and measure progress against goals and monitor gaps/plans to facilitate management discussions/decisions.

In this role, you will enable, incubate, and scale innovation, establish more efficient practices, and align functions and stakeholders to help the company continue to achieve its vast potential. You will be an execution partner with an analytical mindset for our the Vice President, and help drive best practices in India and will work closely with the Strategy and Operations Lead, India Leadership in Google Cloud, and Google India.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Google Cloud Vice President to design, align, operationalize, and execute global and India programs and initiatives for the Indian startup ecosystem.
Manage strategic programs for the sales organization, to establish project plans, milestones and priorities. Communicate status, establish expectations on deliverables and report any obstacles to stakeholders on a regular and timely manner.
Drive program management excellence across our growing Google Cloud teams in-market, and managing internal stakeholders.
Work with cross-functional partners including Sales, Industry Solutions, Strategy, Finance, Partner, Marketing, and HR.
