Description for Software Engineer
You will be developing using Golang/Python involving complex threat detection algorithms in an ultra-high traffic environment. You will be involved in creating developer productivity tools and services. You’ll work closely with Cloud Engineers, Product Engineers, Data science and DevOps. You’ll manage projects, provide creative solutions, and develop successful implementations.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Developing using Golang, and Python for our Security Product tools
Creating schemas, data models, migrations, and manage NoSQL databases (Cassandra and Redis)
Writing data API’s and multi-server applications to meet product needs
Architecting modular services using Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor’s degree and software development experience in Golang and/or Python
Have experience in writing the HTTP Restful Web Services/Proxies and API’s
Have a good understanding of Linux performance tuning, internals and security
Experience in NoSQL databases like Cassandra and Redis and data modeling
Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or other cloud services integration
