Quality Engineer – DELMIA Digital Manufacturing
An integral part of the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform is the connection between the virtual and real worlds. DELMIA, powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, helps industries and service providers connect the virtual and real worlds of value networks to collaborate, model, optimize and perform.It provides solutions to leverage the virtual world of modeling and simulation with the real world of operations.
The apprenticeship is for the Quality Assurance team within the DELMIA Brand working from the Bangalore Lab. The Quality Assurance team is responsible for performing best in class quality assessment to secure, up-front, successful usage of DELMIA solutions by optimizing testing cycle time for accelerated delivery while improving test coverage for product quality and customer use.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for setting up the necessary Performance test environments which include replicating production like environments, databases and hardware configurations
Responsible for executing Performance test scenarios, including load and stress tests based on project requirements
Prepare detailed performance test reports, including findings, recommendations, and potential solutions for issues identified during testing.Collaborate with the development team to address and resolve performance issues by making code and system configuration improvements.
Develop and maintain automated performance testing scripts to facilitate regression testing and continuous performance monitoring.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test scripts, test data, and test results for future reference.
Qualifications/Experience
Bachelors or Masters of Engineering in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field.
Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and basic server concepts
Understanding of relational databases and SQL
Knowledge of network protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP) and application protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP)
Proficiency in at least one scripting languages like Javascript, Python
Strong problem-solving skills
Good Communications skills and Attention to detail.
