TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) has invited online applications from eligible Graduate/Diploma holders in Engineering (passed during 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023), hailing from Tamilnadu, for undergoing one year of Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.
Interested candidates can apply to the posts through the online mode at tangedo.gov.in. Candidates possessing the requisite qualification can apply online from 05 February to 20 February 2024.

TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology(Full time) granted by a University in relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
TANGEDCO Apprentice Selection process 2024
Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at TANGEDCO office premises.
TANGEDCO Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Online application Procedure
For students who have already enrolled in the National Web Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and having login details:
- Login
- Click Establishment Request Menu
- Click Find Establishment
- Upload Resume
- Choose Establishment name
- Type “TANGEDCO” and search g. Click apply
- Click apply again.
For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal
Step 1: Go to https://nats.education.gov.in
Click Student
Click Student Register
Complete the application form
A unique Enrolment Number (ATN… ……….. ) 12 digits for each student will be generated. After completing the Enrollment
Step 2 : Login
Search “TANGEDCO” under Apply against advertised vacancies.
Click Apply (You have successfully applied for the vacancy)
