Job Summary :
Elysium Labs is seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for creating seamless, visually appealing user experiences and possess a solid understanding of front-end technologies. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for translating design wireframes into responsive web applications, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Responsibilities :
1. Design and Develop Android Applications :
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
– Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
– Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
2. Coding and Debugging :
– Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
– Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
– Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
3. Collaboration :
– Work closely with product management, UI/UX designers, and other developers to create a seamless user experience.
– Collaborate with backend developers to integrate server-side logic with the Android application.
4. Unit Testing :
– Write unit tests to identify malfunctions and ensure the stability and reliability of applications.
– Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
5. Code Reviews :
– Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Qualification :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Android Developer with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
3. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
4. Experience with Android Studio and the Android SDK.
5. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
6. Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
7. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
8. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
