Lead Frontend Engineer Bangalore, India (Full Time Hybrid) :
ONMO brings you a top-notch mobile gaming experience. With multiple games and challenges, we bring an immersive and dynamic mobile gaming experience to unite players across the world through moments of joy.
We are looking for a strong lead frontend engineer who can lead the frontend team that designs, builds and maintains the next generation of mobile gaming apps.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to :
- Lead a frontend team of top end engineers to build and support the frontend app for a world-class mobile gaming software.
- Work with stakeholders to scope out product requirements, design timelines for deliverables and ensure smooth functioning of the team.
- Collaborate with backend and devops teams to ensure APIs and infrastructure are aligned with app functionality.
- Develop, and build responsive user interfaces for the core ONMO app using React
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring visual elements are up to code standards and align with brand identity
- Integrate with our backend GraphQL and REST APIs along with other third party APIs
- Bring your experience and creativity to improving our code quality, security and performance
- Mentor engineers by participating in code reviews and giving feedback and suggestions
Experience we are looking for :
- 2+ years of experience of leading a tech team.
- 5+ years of experience as a Frontend engineer or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CSS, HTML, Javascript and Typescript language
- 3+ years of experience and strong knowledge of React.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Redux
- Strong proficiency in browser rendering behavior and performance
- Strong experience of integrating and managing state with GraphQL or REST APIs
- Knowledge of continuous testing, troubleshooting, and integration
- Proficiency with version control tools (git, GitHub)
- Knowledge of AWS is a plus
- Being able to mentor and motivate juniors/intermediate engineer
- Great people skills & a love of mobile gaming is a plus!
