Description for System Software Engineer
We are now looking for a Tegra System Software Engineer! Our team works on developing System Software drivers for Tegra processors used in Automotive and Embedded products, and Nvidia chips used in Server markets. We develop software drivers for Security and Memory Management on NVIDIA Tegra and Server chips. We follow a rigorous Software Development Life Cycle needed for Safety and Security compliance of Autonomous cars and machines.
Our team also works with several working-groups in the organization to define and improve our processes to efficiently achieve Safety and Security standards needed for our products. We are also working on software tools that make use of Generative AI to help with automating certain work products needed for Safety and Security compliance of Autonomous vehicles.
What you’ll be doing:
As a System Software Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting software solutions in the areas of Security and Memory Management
The candidate will also be responsible to work on making the SW compliant to Automotive Safety and Cyber Security standards.
The candidate will work side by side with NVIDIA engineers around the world, as an equal member of a multi-site project team.
The candidate has to be highly motivated, enthusiastic, proactive to achieve high quality software deliveries.
What we need to see:
Strong academic background
M. Tech. or B. Tech. in Computer Science or E&C
Good understanding of programming languages and processor architecture
Good understanding of Operating System Fundamentals.
Knowledge of Linux kernel is a plus
Strong C/C++ programming skills
Knowledge of scripting (Perl or python) is a plus
Candidates should have a solid background in
Operating System, Algorithm development
Knowledge on Object-oriented programming is highly a plus in C / C++ Or Java
Aptitude in innovative and optimal designs
